Well, I am back from my trip to Orlando, Florida. It was awesome, by far the best trip I've ever taken. We visited Disney's MGM Studios, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Old Town, Blizzard Beach Water Park, Pleasure Island and had dinner at Planet Hollywood. Rick taught us how to play Euchre which is now my favourite card game and he also taught me how to play pool considering I had never played before. The week went by fairly slowly but now that I'm back it feels like it all went by way too fast. The first couple of days we had bad weather, by bad I mean it was 10 degrees celcius which I suppose is warm compared to Ottawa conditions. But those few days of cooler weather were apparently the coldest its been in Florida in over 3 years. By Wednesday it was warm again and back up to the norm of 20 + degrees. Yay shorts and tank tops!

We took a bunch of photos and theres one in particular that I had taken just for you Michelle! You'll understand once you see it. My favourite part of the entire trip was Universal Studios and Blizzard Beach where I ended up meeting someone ;). Granted, someone I'll never see again but still. Our flight out was schedualed for 2:30 in the afternoon on Saturday, so we checked out of the hotel and brought in our rental car only to find out that our flight had been cancelled due to poor weather conditions in Ottawa. The people at the airport told us that they didnt know when our next flight would be but that it might be at 4 in the morning, of course they werent certain of that. We had been advised to be at the airport for 1 in the morning. Instead of hanging around the airport for hours, we went to Rick's parents house and sun bathed to pass the time. After that we played Rumoli and Crib and talked. Around 11 Rick called the airport and they told us our flight would be at 6:15 am so we had to be at the airport now for 3. So we left, got there and waited in the longest line ever at an airport to check our luggage. After spending 2 and a half hours in line, we were told our flight had been further delayed to 7:15 am. An hour later and we were informed that our flight would be even further delayed to 8.  I dont think I have ever been so tired in my entire life. I hadnt slept all night or while on the plane and only ended up crawling into bed around 8:50 last night. We had all been up for over 24 hours.

All in all, it was an awesome trip and it is in no way great to be back.
